Eliot Monaco is the Artistic Director of The Mime Company in Chicago. He has been writing, performing and conducting drama outreach with TMC for ten years. Much of that time he has also been engaged in helping young musicians gain confidence and presence onstage using techniques from mime and physical performance. He has previously taught on faculty at Northwestern University, the Colorado Suzuki Institute, various local Suzuki programs and workshops, and performed and taught as a guest artist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Eliot is thrilled to be teaching at KVPC for the first time.
