Shauntia Mettlin (teen coordinator) recently received a B.S. in Music Education from ONU in January 2009. As a horn player, she is actively involved with the New Horizons Band of Kankakee, the Olivet Wind Symphony, as well as a pit player in area musicals. She also teaches private horn lessons in the area and has served as a student representative on the Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra board. Ms.Mettlin is currently working as a substitute teacher in the Bourbonnais, Bradley, and Kankakee school districts.
