Programs and Fees

 


Camp Format:  Camp will begin with registration Monday from 11:00 a.m. to noon.  After a welcome ceremony, students will attend their afternoon classes until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, the classes will meet from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. On Friday, students will attend their morning classes.  Student recitals will take place on Friday afternoon.  

Students in the Chamber or Vocal ensemble classes will meet for an extra class on Monday morning.


Student Programs for Pianists and Vocalists
Option A: Students will receive a daily lesson class , four enrichment classes, and a recital opportunity. $315
Option B: Students will receive five enrichment classes (no lesson class or solo performance) $275
          

Student Programs for Strings
Students should be at an intermediate to advanced level with strong reading skills. Students will receive a chamber class, four enrichment classes, and a recital opportunity. $315 (select Option A on Registration Form.)


Parent and Sibling Classes/Lessons
Parents and siblings not enrolled in the full program may share in the camp experience by selecting a lesson or a class from the following list:
Mime, Orff, Musicianship,  or Tae Kwon Do: $55 per class.

Chamber/Classes:  Students who are at an upper intermediate level (Sonatina level and beyond) and who are strong music readers may choose this chamber class as part of their program for an additional fee: $90 

Piano students enrolled in a chamber class, will have an extra class on Monday morning.

Vocal Ensemble Class Fee: Students who are in Vocal Program and other instrumentalists enrolled in vocal ensemble class, will have an extra class on Monday morning.  Vocal music will be mailed in advance so students can be prepared prior to camp.  This class requires an extra fee of $15. (see registration form)

Composition Class Fee: Due to the very limited class size there is an additional fee of $45.   

Art Fee:  Students enrolled in an art class will need to pay $20 for art supplies.  Fee will be collected the first day of camp.  Checks are made payable to Jan Glazar.


Scholarships
A limited number of partial scholarships may be available for families who need financial assistance. Applicants who would like to be considered should write a letter describing the reasons for needing a scholarship. This should be sent early with the registration form, as they are awarded on a first come first served basis. Parents of students receiving scholarships will be expected to help with hospitality and administrative duties. String students wishing to apply for a talent-based partial scholarship may send a video of their performance and a teacher recommendation to be considered - due April 1st.
