Jan Glazar Jan is currently in her 12th year of teaching art through her studio, “Art Start Studio” in Bourbonnais, IL. She is also the Director of the Gretchen Charlton Art Gallery in Kankakee. Jan holds a degree in fine art and in visual art having studied art, theatre, and early childhood development at Kankakee Community College and Illinois State University. She has also exhibited locally, regionally and nationally. She was also recently inducted into the Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals. Married to Ed for 23 years, they have 2 creative daughters, Annie, 18 and Jillian, 16. Besides being a lifelong student of the arts, Jan, is also a member of the Community Arts Council of Kankakee, Americans for the Arts and President of the Council of Catholic Women at St. Martin of Tours Jan’s hobbies include volunteering, reading and art, art, ART!!!
