Monday, July 14:
9:00 – 12:00 p.m. - Piano teachers in Better Beginnings class meet in Room 133 (lounge).
10:00 - 12:00 noon. - Chamber students will meet and rehearse.
11:00 - 12:30 p.m. - Registration in Larsen Fine Arts lobby.
Students who have lessons during the week may sign-up to play for
either the Thursday or Friday solo recital.
12:00–12:30 p.m. – Lunch.
12:40 p.m. - Welcome Session in Kresge Auditoruim.
1:00 p.m. – Faculty Showcase recital in Kresge.
1:45 p.m. – Afternoon classes begin.
4:35 p.m. - Classes end.
4:45 p.m. – Lecture presentation in Kresge given by Ovid Young, Olivet’s artist in residence.
“40 Years of War Stories From a Touring Pianist……Fun Things My Piano Teacher Never Told Me.”
Tuesday Through Friday: Classes begin at 9:00.
Tuesday, July 15:
12:30 p.m. - Camp Group Picture. Meet on the front steps of Larsen Fine Arts. If raining, meet in Choir
Room 140 of Larsen Fine Arts Building. Let's all wear our camp T-shirts!
1:00 p.m. - Graduating Senior Piano Students perform mini-recital.
1:45 p.m. – Afternoon classes begin.
4:35 p.m. – Classes end.
7:00 p.m. - Bourbonnais High-School is available for open swimming from
7:00 to 9:00 p.m. $3 per person.
Wednesday, July 16:
1:00 p.m. - Faculty Showcase Concert in Kresge Auditorium.
1:45 p.m. - Afternoon classes begin.
4:35 p.m. - Classes end.
Thursday, July 17:
1:00 p.m. - Afternoon classes begin.
3:50 p.m. - Classes end.
4:00 p.m. - Student solo recital part one to be held in Kresge Auditorium.
7:00 p.m. - Fun Night in Kresge. Sign up your act by Wednesday at noon.
Friday, July 18:
Only morning classes will meet on this day.
1:00 p.m. - Ensemble classes will perform in Kresge Auditorium.
2:30 p.m. – Student solo recital part two to be held in Kresge Auditorium.
All students who are in a lesson class are invited to perform on the Thursday or Friday afternoon recitals. The solo recital programs will be posted in the Larsen Fine Arts lobby Thursday at noon. We expect you to stay for the entire recital, dress appropriately, and use proper recital etiquette.
