Anne Marie Olson is on the faculty of the Rockford College Music Academy, where she teaches a studio of 40 Suzuki and traditional piano students, Saturday group theory classes, and is a staff accompanist for the string program. Anne Marie has had extensive Suzuki and technique training with Linda Poquette, Marilyn Taggart, Marilyn Anderson, Doris Koppelman and Yasuko Joichi. She is established as an accompanist and frequent collaborator in chamber music, locally as well as in Colorado. Anne Marie is also a violist, a performing member of Rockford’s Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center, a pianist for the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, and is a contributor to Keyboard Companion Magazine.
Anne Marie lives in Rockford where she shares a home with her husband, Charles Olson, and Joey the cat.
