Jan Glazar is currently in her 10th year of teaching art through her studio, "Art Start Studio" in Bourbonnais, IL. She is also the director of the Gretchen Charlton Art Gallery in Kankakee. Jan holds a degrees in fine art and visual art having studied art, theatre, and early childhood development at Kankakee Community College and Illinois State University. Married to Ed for 22 years, they have 2 creative daughters, Annie, 17, and Jillian, 15. Besides being a lifelong student of the arts, Jan is also currently the Vice President of the Community Arts Council of Kankakee, and president of the Council of Catholic Women at St. Martin of Tours parish, as well as a member of Americans for the Arts. Jan's hobbies include volunteering, reading and art, art, ART!!!
